JENNIFER DOCKERY is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree from Ryerson University, she also holds a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Toronto. With more than 20 years’ experience of progressive leadership and high-quality program development, Ms. Dockery has built a career with a focus on advocating for women and children’s health.
She established Ontario’s first hospital-based refugee clinic at Women’s College Hospital and partnered with an aboriginal midwifery practice on the development of a proposal to open the province’s first Birthing Centre. The Toronto Birth Centre based in an aboriginal framework opened in 2014.
Ms. Dockery is an innovative, healthcare system leader with experience in community, public health, both ambulatory, and acute-care hospital settings along with long term care. She also has experience with capital redevelopment and fundraising, and believes that high engagement is the key to collaboration and successful quality improvement initiatives.
