Edem Akan

Edem Akan is a Director of Innovation & Information Technology Delivery with Metrolinx. Prior to joining Metrolinx, she held leadership roles with the Toronto Transit Commission and City of Toronto to transform and modernize service delivery. Before civil-service Edem successfully ran her consulting practice providing Strategy and Technology services to many large sized clients in Canada.

 

Edem is a wife and a mother of two daughters, lives in and loves High Park and is passionate about mental health issues, mental health awareness and creating environments and support systems that all parents and children can flourish in.

 

Edem holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University and an Executive MBA from Saint Mary’s University.
